Protecting Our Rangers
We are the Midpeninsula Rangers Peace Officers Association (MRPOA), created to protect the Rangers who serve the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (MROSD).
Members of the MRPOA are all employees of MROSD and work as Rangers, dedicated to the preservation and conservation of Open Space Preserves.
The MRPOA helps protect them as they go about their service to our region. MRPOA is the labor representation group for Rangers, Lead Rangers, and Supervising Rangers who work at the MROSD. The MRPOA provides resources to help better its members and the Ranger profession as a whole.
The MRPOA represents its members on the negotiation and management of contracts made between its members and the MROSD. Additionally, it represents members on labor issues and provides membership to the Peace Officers Research Association of California, as well as legal representation when necessary.
MRPOA Board Of Directors.
The MRPOA Board is the leadership of the association elected by its members. The Board meets monthly to discuss association business and assign committees to address issues such as Labor Negotiations.
