Negotiations Restart

As of February 15, 2023, the Midpeninsula Rangers Peace Officers Association (POA) and Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (MROSD) have resumed negotiations to reach a signed contract to replace the imposed Terms of Employment that expire on June 30, 2023.  

Due to the negotiations process, POA members will not make any public statements about negotiations topics at public Board Meetings or to the media until that process has concluded.

The POA expects MROSD to listen to their concerns, and meet and confer in good faith.  Neither party wants to be at an impasse again.

The POA has and will continue to support our members while always working to improve working conditions, compensation, and employee benefits.  The POA is here to protect the people who protect the public.
